1 What We BillShare Does

We BillShare helps members of a household track shared bills and record who has paid what. We BillShare does not process, hold, or transmit money on your behalf — it is a record-keeping and coordination tool only.

Any actual payment between household members happens outside the App, using your own bank, e-wallet, or cash.

2 Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You may also sign in with Google or with Apple. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us right away at webillshare@gmail.com.

3 Households and Shared Data

When you join a household, the other members of that household can see the bills, amounts, due dates, notes, receipt images, and contribution records you and they add, along with your name and avatar. Only invite people you trust with this information.

Removing a member from a household does not retroactively hide activity they already saw while a member.

4 Payment Details You Choose to Share

You may optionally save payment details — such as an e-wallet or bank provider, account name, account number, or a payment QR image — so household members know where to send money. Sharing these is entirely your choice, and members of your household will be able to see them.

Do not enter details you are not comfortable sharing with them.

5 BillShare Plus Subscriptions

We BillShare is free to use, with limits on how many households, members, bills and scans a free account gets. BillShare Plus is an optional paid subscription that removes those limits and adds analytics, budgeting and export.

Plus is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. The plans on offer, the length of each one, and the price in your local currency are shown on the purchase screen before you buy — that screen is the authoritative price, not this document.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the same price, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that.
• You can view, change or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you've already paid for.
• Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Apple sells the subscription, so payments, refunds and price-change notices are handled by Apple under their terms. We can't issue a refund ourselves; requests go to Apple.

If your subscription ends, your account returns to the free limits. We do not delete anything you created while subscribed — your households, bills and contributions stay, and features that exceed the free limits become read-only until you subscribe again or bring your account back under them.

6 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use We BillShare to store or share unlawful content, to harass other users, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the App or its backend services.

7 No Warranty

We BillShare is provided "as is." We do our best to keep bill and contribution records accurate, but we don't guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Amounts read from a scanned bill are produced by automated text recognition and may be wrong. You're responsible for verifying amounts and due dates independently for anything financially important.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, We BillShare and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including disputes between household members about money.

9 Termination

You may stop using We BillShare at any time and delete your account from within the App under Me → Edit Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, where We BillShare is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes consumer protections you are entitled to under the laws of the country you live in.
